Hi, I’m Jake

Brief History

My interest in Graphic Design began when I was first introduced to Adobe Photoshop at 12 years old where I continued to spend most of my childhood gradually learning how to master the rest of Adobe Creative Suite. In 2009, I was offered a scholarship to attend John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. After a brief time, I chose to leave the University to immediately pursue my goals as an artist. In 2010, I formed a rock group called Lola Rath in which I used my Graphic Design & Illustration skills not only for my own band but also for various local musicians and local businesses in the Ozarks. In 2015, Lola Rath had dismembered, and I quickly moved to Seattle, WA to be with my now-wife Adrienne.

In March 2018, Adrienne and I moved to Bellingham, WA where I am working for Print & Copy Factory as their primary Web Developer, and I’m attending Bellingham Technical College for Computer Networking. I enjoy spending my free time reading Philosophy, relaxing with our two cats Evey & Navi, going on nature walks with Adrienne & Bristol (the family dog), and trying all of the great local beers Bellingham has to offer!
